Skillshare approached me to pitch a class based on my background and love for learning. Their new and innovative VIP Teacher course allowed me to share my platform along with a few selected 300+ other artists and innovators for the 2019 year. Crafting Story, my interactive class, was born and launched on July 1st, 2019.
IDEATION:
Everyone has a story, so why not tell it the right way? This class focuses on implementing story techniques learned in my Master’s program, all while informing students about shaping a hearty protagonist that your audience will learn to fall in love with. Crafting Story centers around weaving character and plot together to create a cohesive story, while also showcasing personal work of mine, and fan favorite media we have all grown to love over the years.
Topics include: Structuring the Bones of Store, Finding the Misbelief, Creating Conflict, Creating the Perfect Protagonist and Antagonist, the Ah-Ha Moment, and more.
